Summer Pointe Neighborhood in Buda (A Personal Fav)

Hello, fellow reader! This page contains the very best consolidated, detailed information about the neighborhood of Summer Pointe in Buda, Texas. THE BIG PICTURE


Summer Pointe is a close-knit, private, one hundred home subdivision tucked away between several surrounding communities: Whispering Hollow, Elm Grove, Garlic Creek, Cullen Country, and White Oak Preserve. A hidden gem! Summer Pointe is 2.5 miles away from the interstate (drawing a straight line) and a 3.5 mile drive of about 8 minutes to the interstate and the nearest HEB!


THE SMALLER PICTURE


And there it is! Just that little blue outlined square. Summer Pointe is less than a mile from Elm Grove Elementary (driving) and also an easy half-mile straight-shot to main road FM 1626. Head North on 1626 for 3 miles to jump on SW Toll Rd 45 for a quick, mild-traffic route to Downtown Austin! You'll also notice that Summer Pointe is directly adjacent to Whispering Hollow Park, which is a lovely 18 acre park filled with trees, a trail system, restrooms, playground, and more (which I'll list in amenities below)!

Community Amenities

While there are no pools, playgrounds, etc. directly within the neighborhood- Summer Pointe is adjacent to Whispering Hollow Park (easily accessible by foot), plus many other nearby parks and outdoor recreational areas. The only thing it seems to be missing is a community pool, but again, there are many nearby. To give you a taste- here's what Whispering Hollow's Park has to offer:

  • Walking/Hiking/Biking/Jogging Trail System

  • Playground

  • Pavilion (reserve-able, otherwise is used on a first come, first serve basis)

  • Two Barbecue Stations

  • Three Picnic Tables

  • Plentiful Benches

  • On-Site Restroom Facilities

Additionally, the 31-acre Garlic Creek Park is of noteworthy proximity to Summer Pointe and it includes:

  • Playground

  • Four Picnic Tables

  • Pavilion

  • Two Basketball Goals

  • Bike/Hiking Trail

  • Electricity

  • Water Fountain

  • Pond


 

Summer Pointe Homes


Summer Pointe is a Pacesetter Homes Community. Construction began 2014 and was completed by 2017. On average the homes sit on approximately 1/4 acre lots, most with dimensions 60 x 125, and have sizable backyards with covered patios. Square footage ranges from 1,700 to 3,400, but no matter the size I haven't seen a single home that's not downright gorgeous! ♥

The median days on market for listings in this neighborhood is 39 days with an average sale price of about $335,000. Owners who have sold their home in Summer Pointe, on average, have received 97% of their original listing price and 45% of those people sold their home for more than their initial asking price! I think it's safe to say if you purchase a home in this neighborhood- you're making a wise investment!
